The University of Liberia (UL) through its Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) customarily administers entrance, placement exam and aptitude test as part of the vetting process for admission. This year 2022 second entrance and placement exam and aptitude test are administered to candidates from three of our five programs: undergraduate colleges, graduate school and the law school.

Exam Registration and Administration Dates
\(\color{red}{\textbf{Exam Registration Period:}}\) The Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) of the University of Liberia commenced the registration of the Undergraduate Second Entrance Exam and the Graduate and Professional Schools Aptitude Test for Graduate and Law Schools on Monday, September 12, 2022 and completed the same on Friday, November 4, 2022.
\(\color{red}{\textbf{Exam Administration Period:}}\) CTE-UL administered its Second Entrance and Placement Exam Computer-Based component for undergrad candidates on Monday, October 31, 2022; the Paper-based Exam for centers in Montserrado, Grand Bassa, and Nimba on Saturday, November 5, 2022, and for Centers in Lofa and Grand Gedeh on Monday, November 7, 2022. CTE-UL began the administration of the Graduate and Professional Schools Aptitude Test on Monday, November 7 and ended on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Company Schools : Those schools that are built and run by companies. The children of the company’s employees attend these schools.
Community Schools: Those schools that are established or built through communiy initiative and/ or County Development Projects. These schools will later transition to public schools.
Private Schools : Those schools that are run or established by individuals.
Faith-Based Schools: Those schools that are run or established by religious institutions.
Public Schools : Government owned schools
GS : Graduate Schools
LS : Law School

A total of two hundred seventy-six (154) candidates registered for the UL 2022 Second Aptitude Test for Law School. Three (3) candidate was absent for the Test while, the remaining one hundred fifty-one (151) candidates sat our Law School Aptitude Test.

A total of nine thousand, seven hundred eighty-five (9,785) candidates registered for the UL 2022 Second Entrance and Placement Exam for Undergraduate Colleges. Of this number, only nine thousand, six hundred-two (9,602 or 98% ) candidates wrote the Exam, one candidate (1 or 0.01%) was disqualified for cheating, while one hundred eighty-three (183 or 2%) candidates were absent. Of the total nine thousand, six hundred-one (9,601 or 98% ) candidates whose grades were analysed, three thousand, two hundred forty-one ( 3,241 or 33.76%) candidates passed regularly, one thousand five hundred-twenty (1,520 or 15.83%) candidates passed provisionally while four thousand, eight hundred forty (4,840 or 50.41% ) candidates were unsuccessful.
This also means that only four thousand, seven hundred sixty-one (4,761 or 49.59%) Undergraduate candidates made either a Regular Pass or a Provisional Pass and are therefore eligible to apply for admission.
The total of two hundred seventy-six (276) candidates wrote the Graduate School Aptitude Test. Of this number, one hundred-four (104 or 37.68%) candidates were successful while one hundred seventy-two (172 or 62.32%) candidates were UNSUCCESSFUL. Of the one hundred four(104) successful candidates, thirty-four (34 or 32.69%) candidates are females while seventy (70 or 67.31%) are males.
The total of one hundred fifty-four (154) candidates registered for the Law School Aptitude Test. Three(3 or 1.95) candidates were absent. Of the total of one hundred fifty-one (151) candidates that wrote the Law School Aptitude Test, forty-four (44 or 29.14%) candidates were successful, while one hundred-seven (107 or 70.86%) were UNSUCCESSFUL. Of the forty-four (44 or 29.14%) successful candidates, thirty-four (34 or 77.27%) candidates are males while ten (10 or 22.73%) are females.
