Introduction to Me!

Hi! My name is Connor Catalano. I’m a senior majoring in Marketing and minoring in Business Analytics. I was born and raised right here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am extremely active outdoors involved in activities such as hiking, camping, biking, and climbing in the summers and skiing in the winters. I also love music, cooking, baking sourdough and home brewing beer. Upon graduating I’m planning on finding a job in either a product management or data analytics role in Denver. Ideally that would involve a company that is involved in on of my passions but I will take what I can get.

Academic Background

  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics from The University of Cincinnati (Currently Enrolled)

Professional Experience

Currently I am not working full or part time and I am instead focusing on rehabbing my knee from ACL and Meniscus surgery in addition to my studies as a full time student. Some past roles include:

  • Mountain Bike Instructor: Instructed kids on downhill mountain biking in Boulder, Colorado

  • Research Assistant: Worked for UC as a research assistant performing lab work for their community health Covid-19 study

Experience with R

Prior to this class I didn’t have any experience with R or coding at all.

Experience with other Analytic Software

The only other analytic software that I have experience with is Excel. Within Excel I am capable of preforming many tasks including:

  • Linear Regression

  • Forecasting

  • Modeling

  • Simulations

  • Linear Programing
