Hello!

I am a third-year studying Marketing, Information Systems, and Business Analytics with a minor in Psychology. I’m from Louisville, KY, but I was actually born here in Cincinnati, and I have a younger sister that will most likely be a Bearcat next year. I’m very passionate about mental health and suicide prevention. I’ve worked a lot on fighting the stigma over the past year, and I’m really proud of everything that I’ve done so far and excited for what’s to come.

Professional Background

In 2021, I started working as an IT Training Intern at LG&E and KU Energy where my main focus was testing systems and creating job aides and other training materials. I worked on a small team with 5 other people who constantly gave me learning opportunities and took the time to teach me. This past summer, I worked at SIEMENS Digital Industries Software as a Marketing Campaign Execution Intern where my main focus was market research and campaign execution. This summer I will be working at Procter & Gamble in product management, which is under the IT function.

Experience with R and Other Analytic Software

I have not had any experience with R before this class, but I have worked in a couple of different pieces of software previously. I had a class in high school where we were working in Eclipse with Java for the whole year. I’ve used HTML before, as well as SQL in Oracle. I am currently also taking IS 3050 - Web Development with .Net, in which I will be learning 5 languages by the end of the semester.
