Registration Data of High Career Level Registrants

Other this time frame ‘Career Level’ was not asked as a self-report field during conference registration. Based on the free text ‘Job Title’ a mapping was created to a standard ‘Career Level’.

In the 2022 Wharton Future of Work Conference (WFOWC), ‘Career Level’ was asked directed during registration.
The analysis that follows explores the demographics of the high ‘Career Level’ PAC registrants.
The free text ‘Job Title’ field is complex with many unique titles.
Below summarizes how the ‘Career Level’ was mapped from ‘Job Title’.

  • Career Level 6 = (Sr Manager, Assoc Dir); (Assit Prof); MD

  • Career Level 7 = Director

  • Career Level 8 = (Exec Dir, Sr Dir, Head, AVP); Professor

  • Career Level 9 = (VP/SVP); Professor

  • Career Level 10 = (C-Suite, EVP, Pres); Dean

In 2022 WFOWC data, the job title mapping that was used was found to correlate with self-reported ‘Career Level’. Although registrants self-reported a consistently higher ‘Career Level’ than our mapping applied.

PAC1 did not collect ‘Career Level’ or ‘Job Title’.
