Testing Overview

The Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull (IMTP) is a test that involves a max effort 5 second pull, near the top of deadlift position, against an immovable object. This test allows us to evaluate an athletes level of strength efficiently and safely. We can also evaluate force and changes in force over time to evaluate an athletes ability to produce force rapidly in the time constraints associated with sport.
