About this dashboard

SARS-CoV-2, commonly referred to as Coronavirus or COVID-19 was a devastating disease which impacted the lives of all people across the globe which began in early 2020 and is continuing to have recorded positive cases still. During this time Victoria was subject to multiple lock-downs in an effort to contain the spread of the virus whilst a vaccination was being created and Victoria was able to source sufficient quantities.

During the COVID-19 pandemic a common method to test for the virus was to take a PCR test with testing sites being setup across the State. This dashboard aims to offer insights into the recorded positive PCR tests for Victoria in Australia throughout the pandemic.
