Question 1: What are the general feelings associated with Xbox compared to the New PS5?

Analysis:

The Xbox twitter community used more thoughtful tweets in comparison to PS5 twitter. In the PS5 community, they used more unusual characters and Xbox used more sentences and words describing their feelings. I think I gain a better knowledge as to what platform I should get as Xbox’s sentiments included words such as trust, positivity and anticipation were used. PS5 had more neutral or negativity which I am assuming is from conversations about specific games which is why there was a bit more fear and negativity.

Question 2: What time of day do the Xbox and PS5 communities communicate the most?

Analysis:

I can interpret from this plot that Xbox users usually are more active around either midnight evening time or around the hotspot of 4pm. From this I want to assume that Xbox players are younger based on them playing around the time when most middle/highschools get out of classes for the day.

I can interpret from this plot that PS5 users usually are more active around late morning or early afternoon time and not as much during the evening. I think that these users may have jobs or other things to do during evenings so they get their gaming done in the morning.

Question 3: What words are used most around tweets for Xbox and PS5 communities.?

Analysis:

For the Xbox words, I can see they talk things like “Series”, “Playstation”, “PC”, “December” and “RT”. From these words I can see as if Xbox users compare themselves to other gaming devices like Playstation and PC a lot. I think this could mean they are less self-centered people as they look for comparisons to others. I assume December pops up for a great Christmas or Holiday present.

For the PS5 words, I can see they have lots of interesting characters used that do not pop up exactly in the plot. I assume the PS5 community may tend to be from origins of a different culture or place around the world than the typical Xbox user. For the understandable words like “PS4” “Pro” and “Iphone” I can interpret that they are more egocentric and trying to feel as if they are the best. They are not looking as much at other communities to see if they are better than them, since they are looking at their own products.
