Background
This report uses data obtained from the University of Wyoming office
of Institutional Analytics in November of 2022. It examines program
enrollment and program credential count for each school under the
College of Education. Those schools are the Counseling Leadership
Advocacy and Design (CLAD) and the School of Teacher Education (STE).
Enrollment data were taken the spring of 2016 through the spring of
2022. Credential data were taken from the academic year of 2016-2017to
the 2021-2022 academic year. This report begins by providing the
enrollment data by school (CLAD and STE) and by category (graduate
degree, undergraduate degree and certificate). This report also provides
data for the Math and Science degrees, which were moved out of the
college in 2019.

Enrollment in Math/Science Undergraduate Programs from fall 2015 to

The math and science degrees showed enrollments above 5 in most
areas.
Average STE Graduate Program Enrollment of STE from AY 2015-16 to

The school of teacher education has the highest enrollment Master’s
in Curriculum and Instruction. Several doctoral degrees show enrollments
less than one student, but may be rolled into larger degree
categories.

The school of teacher education enrolls several students in
certificates, on average, by program with a few programs averaging less
than one a year.

The school CLAD shows strong student enrollment. Many low-enrolled
programs were cancelled.

Average undergraduate credentials for the School of Teacher
Education
STE showes the highest credentialing for the bachelor in elementary
education. Several degrees show lower than one student average per
year.
The math and science degrees produced several credentials.
These degrees were moved from the College of Education in 2019.
School of Teacher Education Graduate Degrees
The highest degree attained, on average, was the MA in curriculum
and instruction with the other degrees averaging two or less graduates
per year.
School of Teacher Education Certificates
STE has a healthy number of students graduating with various
certifications on average.
Graduate Degrees of the School of CLAD
On average, the counseling and special education programs show the
most graduates. Several lower-credentialed areas had program changes in
the past few years.
School of CLAD certifications
CLAD awards several certifications in school principleships and
superintendencies.
