Unsurprisingly, the most used word is beer. This data doesn’t do much for us so let’s break it down further.

Now we’ll create a visual to show this data, but now we’ll separate it by brewery.

Is the Beer Actually Good?

Now, let’s ask a more interesting question. Which brewery has better beer? Since “beer” is a neutral word when it comes to sentiment analysis, for this we’ll see how often the word beer is used within 5 star reviews for each brewery.

By looking at this graph we can see that MadTree has a higher % of 5 star reviews that specifically mention their beer. This shows that people tend to like MadTree’s beer better while they could like Rhinegeist for other reasons other than just their beer.
