Yourcabs.com is a taxi company in Bangalore, India. In 2013, they had a cancellation problem where s7%-8% of drivers were not showing up after they already had accepted the client. Drivers would cancel their acceptance of a call and if the cancellation did not occur with adequate notice, the customer would be delayed or left without a ride.
In order to analyze this issue, Yourcabs.com collected bookings data from 2011 to 2013 to see what it could learn about the problem of cab cancellations.
