November 17, 2022 Update

Now that a couple of weeks has passed, let’s take a trip down memory lane and either celebrate or lament our draft picks. I’ll first highlight some league-wide insights, and then below you can scroll to find your name to see how you drafted.

Top 5 Draft Picks

Lauri Markkanen was the best value draft pick, taken in the second-to-last round but producing a 5th round value. Unfortunately Tim traded him away RIP. John was killing draft day, with three high-value picks in the ROTY contender Paolo Banchero, the emerging fantasy stud SGA, and somehow Westbrook?? For all of Westbrook’s deficiencies, he’s still a fantasy stud with 16.3 pts, 5.5 rebs, 7.2 asts and 1.2 stls.

Top 5 Worst Draft Picks

Alright, so Alex Caruso is the clear “winner” here. I mean no questions asked Zac, but white boys gotta stick together. I’m personally a big fan of the CaruSHOW, but he’s just not fantasy material. Ben Simmons, disappointing fans for years and now Tim. Tim, my man, going all in with the Brooklyn Nets drama with another worst 5 pick in Kyrie Irving. That’s rough buddy. To be fair, Kawhi has been on injury management for what seems like all of COVID, but hey, if and when he gets back to his Finals MVP form, Adam and Av can rejoice.
