Analyze your client company’s data. Consider the following:
Comptus had great growth during the birth of their company. From 2002 till 2007 they were above the average GDP. This was until 2007 when the great recession hit. During this 2 year period from 2007 to 2009 Comptus struggles and had a decline in business and sales. In 2009 they had a large bounce back and soared back above the GDP showing off a 6.5 percent growth during that year. The Pandemic of Covid 19 resulted in another decline. This brought them into the negative spectrum again and they are currently working to regain footing. Over the last couple years they have been up and down.
Comptus is in an industry that is growing yearly but they rely on outside companies purchasing their products. With the rebounding from the COvid 19 Pandemic they have been stagnant as of late. As these other companies will ahve to fully regain their footing in their industry for Comptus to regain footing themselves.
Recessions are shown to last about a year. This can be seen in the recent Covid 19 mishap where Comptus struggled from 2019 - 2020 before they regained their footing in the industry. There are still certainly some reprecussions of the Pandemic as Comptus has struggled as of late. This is due to inflation making it harder to get equipment they need, prices of these equipments rising, and harder to get customers to buy these equipments. Comptus has certainly struggled, but if you look at their history once the GDP regains their footing comptus will soar above it and be back on their feet in no time.
