Data Wrangling with R: Week 2 Lab

Introduction

Hello, I’m Rudranshi Singh and I’m a student majoring in Information Systems at the University of Cincinnati. I’m originally from India where I previously worked as a Risk Analyst.

Academic Background

• B.E. in Information Technology (S.G.S.I.T.S, Indore, India)

Professional Background

Prior to starting MS in Information Systems, I was working as a Risk Analyst in the Cyber Security practice at Deloitte.

My day-to-day work included:

• Design, develop and implement business requirements in Sailpoint IIQ Identity Governance tool to help automate manual tasks
• Collaborate with operations team to perform error analysis on production systems
• Devising business process improvements in client systems

Experience with R

I do not have any prior experience with R. As part of this course, so far I have done the following in R:

• Manipulate different R data types
• Create R markdowns
• Create R notebooks

Experience with other analytic software

My experience with other analytic softwares have been relatively limited. They include:

1. Tableau
2. MS-Excel
3. Splunk
