I have been working at CEVA Logistics (formerly Ingram Micro, and before that Brightpoint) for 22 years. I work in the IS Department as a Business Analyst. Technically, I am a Tech Writer. About 18 years ago, my company was moving to a new order management and reporting system. They needed people, from the sales channel, who could not only work with the business users, but could also translate their needs into what IS developers could understand and vice versa. Leadership selected me to assist with the reporting development and implementation. All these years later, and I am still in the same role. I love being able to help my customers get the reports that they need to be able to support our clients.

Experience with other analytic software

Unfortunately, most of my knowledge is based on what I have learned on the job with my company in my role. I have been able to learn to read SQL, but not write. I do not have a lot of experience with other applications. This is why I wanted to go back to school, to learn other tools.
