Comptus
Comptus is a domestic micro-employed manufacturer that focuses on designing and manufacturing electronic weather instruments and controls. The industries they focus their production on include automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. Comptus has two known business locations where their employee count ranges from 1-20 total employees. Financially, their revenue bucket is listed from 1-9.99 million U.S. dollars which is all domestic sales. Comptus by location and employment alone, are considered a small business, but their vision and focus alone make them an important company. Using basic economics to understand supply and demand for a growing industry, Comptus is excelling and can only grow. Recently, they were awarded New Hampshire’s exporter of the year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Compus’ focus industry alone basically determines their focus on exportation, but using their location within the state of New Hampshire makes them a major economic benefactor. With Mt. Washington in their backyard, creating durable weather instruments is something that a weather phenomenon like the Presidential mountain range can only benefit from. Comptus has become a sponsor for the Mt. Washington Observatories weather fest table at the annual AMS events. With a vision for the future seemingly ingrained within the companies system, the future is bright for this small business.
