Introduction to Me
HI! My name is Daniel Plotkin and I am a 4th Year studying Business Analytics with a minor in Information Systems. I am originally from West Chester, Ohio, which is about 30 minutes north from UC Main Campus. I have a strong passion in Data Science and using Data Science to create effective machine learning for real world problems!
Academic Background
Graduated from Lakota West High School in 2019.
Currently Pursuing a B.S. in Business Analytics at the University of Cincinnati
Professional Background
(May 2022 - August 2022) Business Intelligence/Data Engineer Intern at TQL.
- Responsible for using SQL to manipulate data into queries that I integrated into Power Bi and SSRS Visualizations.
(January 2022 - May 2022) Data Analytics Intern at ROInsights
- Created tracking for external companies websites, and used a variety of Google based products to create data visualized dashboards and insights for these companies.
(February 2021 - December 2021) Business Intelligence Developer at The Cincinnati Music and Wellness Coalition.
- Used Excel and SPSS to analyze the effectiveness of music based wellness programs on well being for patients with mental health struggles.
Experience with R and Other Analytic Software
This class is my first experience using R in any fashion. Previously, I have taught myself Python to do similar functions that R can do. I also know analytic software like Power Bi, Tableau, SPSS, SSRS, Google Analyics, and SQL.
