I am the one in the grey Nike hoodie in the middle of the picture.
I am Brady Leugers, a third year from Youngstown, Ohio. At UC, I am a finance major, with a minor in accounting, and seeking a certificate in business analytics.
In 2020, I graduated salutatorian from Ursuline High School. I have since come to UC as a member of the Kolodzik Business Scholars here in Lindner. I have changed my major a few times, adding accounting, dropping it, picking it back up as a minor, but always have stayed a finance major.
On campus I am very involved. I am serving as president of the Accounting Club. I am also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha where I serve as the Greek Week chair. Currently, I am in the process of joining Beta Alpha Psi which is an honorary fraternity for finance and accounting majors.
I have worked in a variety of rolls since college has began. Starting last year, I am a peer tutor at UC. I tutor mostly Calculus, Economics, and Accounting to first year students along with student athletes. I am also a PACE leader in the Lindner College of Business for the honors section.
For co-op, I had the pleasure of being a tax intern at Clark Schaefer Hackett this past spring. While the experience is invaluable and the people were amazing, I can confidently say I will not be returning. Taxes were not my thing. This upcoming summer, I will be serving as a Risk and Financial Advisory intern at Deloitte.
My experience in R is very limited. Over the summer, I took BANA 4090 - Data and Forecasting Analysis. That class focused on wrangling data in R to make forecasts. I only learned R in that functionality, nothing else.
I have taken small seminars in Tableau and PowerBi. As far as data software, I am still very new to the field.
