Trips by mode

Most trips to work and study are made by car (78,298), followed by walking (18,922), public transport (18,374), other motorised vehicles (4,961), and cycling (2,195).

Cycling trips to work and study, which represent 5,621% of the total, are distributed by electoral division as follows.

Trips by distance and mode (scenarios comparison)

In Kildare, cycling trips to work and study are concentrated above all on trips between 1 and 6 kilometers. From this point, the greater the distance, the smaller the number of cycling trips.

Cycling trips increase in all the scenarios, although some are more ambitious than others. The most ambitious scenario is Ebike followed by Go Dutch, Climate Action Plan, and Near Market.
