The heatmap shows the movie ratings across different genres in the year 1965. I chose this year because my dad’s favorite movie growing up was “The Sound of Music” by Julie Andrews, produced in 1965. As a kid, he loved the scenery, the plot, and the songs. Many people, like my dad, seemed to love that genre because the highest ratings in 1965 were for “Musical-Roumance” movies.
