Spammers ruined my wordcloud!

So I've got a very soft spot for my home state of Vermont. The weather this summer has been rather intense, so I decided I would do a little text mining to see if I can determine the weather back home. (Don't ask me why. I know it would be much easier to just go to weather.com) So I plot my little word cloud and low and behold I get this nonsense:

So what on earth was happening, why is “brass” the most common word? Well I went and actually looked for what was going on by examining the actual search text. Low and behold I find that there's just a huge number of what I presume are bot accounts spamming links to a “Conant Custom Brass Model T-6C Vermont Copper Dial Thermometer: Shouldn't a weather instrument be as durable as…” on amazon.com

So I wanted to see what I get when filter out the spam texts and then look over a small window (since yesterday, 7-16-12).
And I see exactly what I would have guessed from looking at the weather report “Dangerous severe thunderstorms”
