Introduction

In this dashboard, we take a look at wallets that bought NFTs from AB2 Gallery in Algorand.

We take a look how many wallets have ever purchased an NFT from AB2 Gallery, as well as the weekly number of new wallets buying from the Gallery since its inception.

We also show the distribution of how many NFTs each unique wallet has bought as well as the distribution of ALGOs spent by each wallet buying NFTs. Finally, we show the top wallets by the number of NFTs bought and by total ALGOs spent.

To build this dashboard we built a table of NFT sales on AB2 Gallery since its inception (the summarized query that we used can be found here using Flipsidecrypto’s algorand.asset_transfer_transaction, algorand.payment_transaction and algorand.asset tables. To build said table, the following algorithm was followed:

• Identify asset transfers with ‘ab2.gallery’ (decoded) in its transaction message note with asset amounts equal to 1 and where the asset sender was not the asset receiver.
• Mark transactions that meet said criteria as sales and extract asset, buyer, price and royalties + commission information from the transaction or transactions in the same group.

New and cumulative unique wallets

The following charts show the number of weekly wallets that bought their first NFT in AB2 and the cumulative number of wallets that have bought NFTs from AB2.

As we can see, it took some time before AB2 Gallery really took off in terms of adoption. However, its influx of new users was continuously accelerating until it peaked and stalled from September to November. Since then, it has slowly declined back to July/August levels.

By the start of September only 243 wallets had bought NFTs on rand. By the end of the year more than 3500 had bought. To date, 4948 wallets had ever bought at least one NFT in AB2 Gallery.
