This interactive map overlays Census Tracts and Census Block Groups on top of State House District 42. Census Tracts and block groups are the smallest units for which the Census Bureau publishes data from the American Community Survey (ACS). All Census data is available for tracts, and some is available for block groups. Because the ACS is a survey, they need a certain number of responses to publish data, so data with several categories or data broken down by race is usually not available for block groups.
