The purpose of this post is to demonstrate proc report ODS RTF to its full potential. Below is an example which captured nearly all concepts of a table; colours, fonts and borders etc. The only other two concepts that are not demonstrated are cell-merging and text-rotation. These can be achieved via post-processing. The example was created from a single SAS program with no post-processing of the RTF.
Beside the aesthetic look its real value is that you can automate a process to insert them as is into CSR etc directly. Imagine a medical writer prepare his/her report document (most probably in MS Word) with markers in this document - on database lock as soon as the ADaMs and TLGs are QCed she can just run her process and get a complete report immediately!! If you are medical a writer why would you not wish for such an automation!
