Introduction

This dashboard provides information about the levels of participation in sports and fitness activities in Australia between 2016 and 2020.

It provides key insights to help inform interested parties, such as National and State Government agencies, and other sports and fitness organisations, about steps that may need to be taken to improve people’s participation in sports and fitness activities in Australia.

The dashboard has been created using AusPlay survey data from the Government’s Clearinghouse for Sport information and knowledge sharing platform for Australian sport www.clearinghouseforsport.gov.au.
