The November 2020 elections for President of the United States had to have been one of the most contentious in the country's history. Even after all the votes were counted, there was the one person, a political party, certain states, and many voters who were never satisfied with the results.

The state of Georgia is one of those 'battleground' states where the difference between the total votes for Joseph Biden (2,473,633) and Donald Trump (2,461,854) was close to 'razor thin.' Even after a statewide audit and recount, Biden was later confirmed the winner in Georgie.

For this 'Fun with Leaflet' project, I chose to build an interactive map plotted with all voting counties in the state of Georgia. Each county has a dot representing the location of its seat. When a seat is clicked, a popup appears with the name of county, the winner, and the votes per candidate in that county.
