How to enriching GitHub data

Using the GoogleAPI we can pull geolocation for all adopters and visualize the geographic distribution of adopters. This dataset could be enriched with socio-economic data to study regional differences in adoption rates.

Finally, it’s possible to challenge a major assumption behind open source development: that GitHub apps will be reused. To answer questions such as: To what extent are apps “reused” and enanched by other developers? One may count the total ‘contributors’ to an app, how much they contributed (e.g., how many lines of code they wrote), or copied open-source apps (technically called “forking”) for reuse.
