Project: Divine League Team Name: DL Games Payment Address: 0xEDa31A271429D9eF8892ce9F18DC6142c80765fb
Please provide the following: - A brief description of the project.
We are three people from Denmark, who wish to create a blockchain fantasy card game, with NFT-collebtibles, based in fictional world where the emisaries of “the gods” battle each other.
Among other domains, we own divineleague.com, which represents the name of the game.
By playing the card game, people will be able to compete against each other, winning collectibles and other gear in the process.
NFT-based fantasy card games on the Vechain network.
Native marketplace for in-game NFT-assets etc.
Wallet Integration with VechainThor Wallet / Vechain Sync
An indication of why your team is interested in creating this project within the VeChain Ecosystem.
We are early investors in Vechain, and have bought tokens from pretty much every single ecosystem project. That is why it feels natural for us to consider Vechain as our first option. We have also considered different options like Matic. But with the recent 99% decrease in transaction fees and this grant, Vechain has become a much more competive and interesting option than it was before.
To be honest, many of the NFT/Gaming projects in the Vechain Ecosystem, seems to be going through a hard time or are migrating away. But with the recent changes mentioned above, we think more NFT based projects will come to the ecosystem and prosper.
VulcanVerse: Migrating from Vechain to Matic. 8 Hours Foundation / VimWorld. We sold our Ehrt, but hold our Vims. Looking forward to recieve our VEED and see the platform evolve. Plair: Moving away from Esports and into NFTs, but havent come out with anything concrete yet. Dbet: Haven´t heard from them in a very very long time.
Many projects have excellent developers and ideas, but lack the network to make their platform gain attraction once their product is done. We on the contrary, have an excellent network among very influencial european gamers, capabale of promoting our platform.
As ICO investors in Plair and gamers ourselves, we nurtured our connections for years, with the hopes of being able to use it to promote Plairs Esports platform once it was done. Plair has since pivoted in another direction. Fortunately, we can now use it to promote our own project.
Mockups/designs of any UI components
We have a very solid idea of the end product. But we are not designers, and you really dont want to see us making a draft in Paint. You should imagine a combination of HeartStone, Magic: The Gathering and Dota2. But way better, and as NFT Collectibles.
Are there any other projects similar to yours? If so, how is your project different?
There are currently no other similar projects that are part of the Vechain Ecosystem. The attention that our connections will bring to the market will not only benefit our project, but hopefully all NFT-projects on the Vechain network.
A experienced developer in Argentina can expect a salary of 120.000 ARS, which currently is 1300 usd a month. With a 90.000 Usd Initial Budget, beside ourselves, the future core team will consist of: 3 Back-End 2 Front End 2 3D Animators / Game Animators 3 Interns - Government sponsored Danish interns* *The Danish goverment sponsers master´s degree students who wish to intern for foreign companies, by giving them 950 usd per month over a 6 month period. This is more than enough to live well in Argentina.
When it comes to me and my friends, we earn much more staking our assets, than by having a full time job in Denmark. In other words, we wont need to use funds from the grant to sustain ourselves. For legal purposes, we will give ourselves a 1 usd salary a month, until the main products are done. All funds will be dedicated towards developers/animators, and we will focus on project management, public relations, marketing and long term planning.
Please describe the team’s relevant experience. If the project involves development work, then we’d appreciated it if you can single out a few interesting codes commits made by team members on their past projects.
I dont have any direct development experience myself, other than hiring personal and supervising technical projects for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I have a masters degree in Social Science and Digital Communication, and was recreuited by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have an impeccable track record, and have been involved in various projects with foriegn presidents and The Queen of Denmark.
I am an excellent orgaizer and know how to get value for money. For example, While a freshman at my unniversity, I managed to launch a successful political campaign and getting elected to the city council, despite being up against senior politicians with a budget many times my own meager student budget. I served 4 years as a politician, while taking my university degrees at the same time.
As a part of my work at embassies in various countries, I have helped many Danish companies establish themselves in South America, so it will be relatively easy to start up in Argentina, where I also lived and worked for two years.
This section should break out the development roadmap into a number of milestones. Since the milestones will appear in the grant contract, it helps to describe the functionality we should expect, plus how we can check that such functionality exists in the product. Whenever milestones are delivered, we refer to the contract to ensure that everything has been delivered as expected.
Below we provide an example roadmap. For each milestone:
Initial Funds: 30.000 USDT Vechain Grant 15.000 USDT Vechain Foundation* 45.000 USDT Dedicating some of our own funds Total: 90.000 USDT *We hold multiple nodes
