For this task, httr is for making requests to the Books API. The jsonlite library will help to convert the responses to data frames. The dplyr will be used for basic data viewing (glimpse()) as well as other functions.

## [9] "isbn13"By specifying parameters and your API key, you can easily request information from the NYTimes Books API. We need to first build our request string, which may or may not include different query parameters, like an author or title. Then use the httr package to make the request, passing along your string. Use content function and pass the argument as="text" to get the response from the API. In our case, the payload was usually in the results column of the response, and this was what we converted into a data frame that can be utilized later. However, there is so much data it can be difficult to parse with human eyes, so it’s a good idea to print the column names or the first few rows to get a better understanding.
