“On Tuesday, I found myself really interested in teh supervised learning methods. I believe I have a general understanding of Naive Bayes and I think it fits best with my idea because it allows for multiple classifications. My idea would be to use a corpus of Supreme Court Cases. My goal would be to apply Naive Bayes to classify each decision into one of three groups: Textualism, Originalism, and Precedent based on key words that those type of opinions contain in them. I am in the prcoess of obtaining the corpus of Supreme Court cases then I will be able to make more progress on this aspect of project.”
