In the following sections, I am going to describe the differences between OSU and UTAH screeners in the PTH data.
The main advantage of the UTAH screener over OSU is asking about being”ever dazed or had a gap in memory”.

We have two differences between these two screens.
These cases represent 11.35% of the total sample.
These examples are five out of 19, indicating the difference between OSU and UTAH. As the OSU is not able to capture dazed timing, cases that reported no unconsciousness are categorized as “Mild TBI without LOC”. In the Utah Screener, they answered “More than a month” and “1 to 7 days”, they coded “Moderate/Severe”.
Again, OSU did not capture dazed timing in this condition, and cases reported less than 30 minutes of unconsciousness, so they coded as mild. However, they were dazed for more than a day, so they coded moderate/ severer in the UTAH.
