Forza Horizon 5

This data set is a comprehensive car list of all the cars from the video game Forza Horizon 5. This dataset lists every car (in their stock form) & various data points about each car, such as 0-60 time, horse power, etc. It is worth noting that all the data points in this dataset are taken at a car’s base model, meaning that this is assuming no car has had any performance upgrades installed whatsoever.

Supercar Test

This variable, named “Supercar Test,” is a logical test of whether or not a car can be considered a super car solely based on price; the criteria set is whether or not it has a base cost of more than $1,000,000 in-game. Although this figure is arbitrary, the vast majority of super cars in-game cost above this price point.

This data table allows you to search for a specific car, if you’re interested in a specific car that’s in the game.

Highest Horsepower

This object outputs which car in the game has the highest stock horse power. The 2020 Lotus Evija has a horsepower of 1973; that’s quite powerful! For the purposes of this question, a data table is outputted with a couple data points about the 2020 Lotus Evija.

Distribution of Stock Specs in FH5

This visualization shows the distribution of the stock_specs column. The stock spec on a car is a letter rating for how well the car performs in its stock form. The scale goes from D - S2 (D being the slowest, heaviest cars & S2 being the fastest and best performing cars). So, the scale (from best to worst) is D - C - B - A - S1 - S2. As you upgrade a car, you can move it up to different tiers, but we’ll ignore that for now & just look at everything in its stock form. It’s pretty even for the most part, but S1 is the most common tier for a car, which is interesting. There’s also a lot of fairly basic cars, since there’s a lot of A & B level cars. These can definitely be upgraded to become beasts, though!
