What is the correlation between temperature (F) and the number of structural fires?

There is a moderately strong relationship (-0.64; 1/-1 would be a perfect correlation, 0 would be no correlation). As temperature decreases, we see more structural fires on average.

May, 2021 had an abnormally low number so was excluded from the analysis. Only structural fires were used for the counts.
