Preliminary Results

This milestone involves:

• Replication Package (DO files)
• Table(s) and/or Figure(s)

Keep an eye on how other papers present their results. I typically have one or two papers that I model my own presentation of results.

Replication Package (DO Files)

Continue to maintain well organized and document DO files for your analysis. I should be able to access your DO files and replicate your results.

At this stage, you’ll want all of your DO files used for cleaning and merging that are well documented and organized. Create a OneDrive link with editing privileges and share it with me.

Table(s) and/or Figure(s)

The table or figure should highlight the main results. Here are some tips for putting together the table/figure:

• Only present the main coefficients. Do not present all the coefficients for the controls. You can list them in the footnote.
• Have an extensive footnote at the bottom of the table/figure. It should be that the reader can simply look at the table/figure + footnote and figure out everything without having to go back to the manuscript.
  
• Find a table/figure from an econ paper, and use it as a template.
  
• One table/figure per page

How to submit

Submit the table(s) and figure(s) along with a brief summary of the results (in WORD) and a link to your OneDrive folder that contains the replication package via Slack DM to me by the deadline.
