The purpose of this project is to take the Mortality data from Mexico, process the data and make interactive plots for visualization of mortality of diagnosis of interest.

The data was taken from INEGI, and includes mortality data from the years 2012 to 2020. The interactive plots that will be created will include overall mortality by diagnosis and mortality by gender of the mentioned years.

Data was downloaded via a ‘Massive Download App’ that can be found on INEGI webpage.

The data was cleaned and processed on a separate R script file, which is sourced for this presentation.

This plot shows the total general mortality of Mexico, from the years 2012 to 2020.
