Summary

The purpose of this analysis is to identity service characteristics of the Fort Belvoir Circulator, which appears in the build scenario WMATA feed. It is not present in the no-build scenario. This analysis is based on input GTFS files contained in model run Run41.1.1_Alt2_FB_v4.

Route Characteristics

Service Pattern

In GTFS feds, the “trips” table defines unique service patterns that are active during a specific span of service. Fort Belvoir Circulator service is comprised of four unique “trips.” These “trips” correspond to linked tables that specify headways and scheduling (time between stops) during each service pattern. Fort Belvoir Circulator is configured such that there are two unique trips for each direction: one for am peak service and a second for mid-day service.
