  • Benefits administration is the creation and management of an employee benefits program. Typically, the team responsible for employee benefits administration is HR.
  • Managing benefits is key to retaining talent and ensuring that every employee gets the benefits they are entitled to from their workplace.
  • Administering benefits is a difficult and complex process, as there are also several rules and regulations you must comply with to do so effectively. In this study, we are focusing on one of the benefits offered in Company XYZ ~ Medical Benefits.
  • Our core objective is to develop an interactive and free app by using R programming to study on the medical utilization and after that to visualize the finding to ultimately provide an insights to the Company XYZ.
  • The dataset was given by the Company XYZ which contains several type of coverage under the medical benefits such as Group Hospitalisation & Surgical (GHS), Group Term Life (GTL) under the insurance cost, and under the Administration Service Only (ASO) which covered the benefits on the treatment and visit to the medical centers within the self-insured.

Conclusion

  • This apps was done up to EDA and there is no modeling activity taken in place as the final objective is only to give an insight to the HR of Company XYZ. Therefore, they are able to perform other activity for their employee wellness.
