Public Diplomacy Descriptive statistics

Public Diplomacy spending in aggregate.

Table 1 shows the average and median PD budget across seven years the dataset . We see the average spending is $5,874,422 (in 2015 adjusted PPP adjusted dollars).

There is a large skew in the dataset due to the high spending in a few of the countries (Afghanistan and Iraq et cetera). The median is far lower at $2,277,457 (in 2015 adjusted PPP adjusted dollars).
