Breakout rooms went well- being able to discuss these concepts with other educators in my
grade level.

Getting into the bulk of instruction sooner (lots of fluff in the begining)

Facilitators need to work on their ability to engage the participants. The 3 hours could
easily be trimmed down.

My group worked well.

New ways to implement our curriculum.

Looking at relevant grade level resources

More meaningful application suggestions

They were both very good and knowledgable, content of presentation was well organized and
relevant. However I think the timing on NAPS was well thought out-too much lost teaching
time.

facilitators

something tangible to bring back to my class

Nothing in the session I can bring back to the classroom.

nothing

Something that can actually used in lesson planning and improve engagement and teaching.
This was all a bunch of theories of teaching, very frustrating.

The breakout groups

break out rooms to talk with other grade level teachers

shorter

made me think about my practices

I have a deeper understanding of the vertical standards.

The presenters were knowledgable and the breakout groups were helpful.

It would have been helpful if the breakout groups with our building teachers.

Identifying how each part of instruction prepares students for learning and allows them to
practice skills through a gradual release. .

The introduction seemed long and unnecessary. It could have been a quicker introduction

Facilitators were great!

I have a better understanding of how to use Eureka.

I felt like the session was directed towards third through fifth grade teachers and it
was hard to apply to the skills my students have which are very emerging skills of number
sense.

My break out group was great.

There was no practical information presented in the beginning.

Talking with grade level peers about math

The first hour and 15 minutes was a complete waste of time. It is very important when out
of the classroom to get right to the point of meaningful information. This did not happen
today. I am disappointed, and look forward to next session being more meaningful to my
practice.
