For simplicity, this page only includes information for the top six hitters in terms of pitches faced in the 2021 season. For each of these six players, three plots are presented: the plot on the left shows that player’s swing percentage in different zones of the strike zone; the plot on the top right shows the average swing percentage by zone for all UNC hitters of the same handedness; the plot on the bottom right shows the difference between that player’s swing percentage by zone and the average swing percentage by zone among all UNC hitters of the same handedness, where higher values (red) indicate swinging more than average.
