Taxonomy Treemap: Where in the tree of life do these species belong?
This treemap produces blocks that are proportional to the number of species I have observed in multiple taxonomic groups. The four largest blocks symbolize the most foundational hierarchical level: Kingdom (ex. plants, animals, fungi, protozoa- the purple blocks). The smallest blocks within kingdoms represent an intermediary level: Order (in plants, for example, we have Brassicales, Saxifragales, etc.).
