In the context of the Coursera Developing Data Products course, a shiny application was created to allow users to select predictors to fit different linear models to predict the mpg (Miles per Galon).

The mtcars data was extracted from the 1974 Motor Trend US magazine and comprises fuel consumption and 10 aspects of automobile design and performance for 32 automobiles (1973-74 models). On the right is a boxplot of the mpg (Miles per Galon) versus am (transmission) variables.
In order to use the application the following simple step should be followed:
After the selection is made, the results will be displayed, which contain the summary of the linear regression using the selected predictors. Also the Residuals vs Fitted and Normal Q-Q diagnostic plots are displayed.
