I was born in the Western Part of India. I grew up in the Middle East and, worked in the Eastern Part of India. Here I am studying in the opposite side of the Globe, in USA.
I like to travel. Have traveled to 5 states in USA, in last 2 months. I even went to see the Northern Lights in Northern Michigan over the weekend, but unfortunately we couldn’t see them. I like to watch movies and TV Series, and I also re-watch some of them as I just love em.
I have a very varied professional background. Starting from my internships during my undergrad, which ranged from working as a Design Intern, to working as a Marketing Executive Intern. After graduating, I worked as an Assistant Engineer, looking after Production & Logistics Management. I worked on Data Visualization and Marketing Analytics while working as an engineer, and wanted to transition towards a more main stream technical role involving analytics and database. Hence I joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst, working for banking clients on their database management solutions.
Having a 2 years of experience, I wanted to club them all together and hence I thought of getting a Masters degree in Business Analytics which would help me integrate them all together.
I have almost no experience of working with R. I have worked with Python on multiple small projects, but none with R. Although when I undertook the Stat Methods course, I first delved into R. Having learned the basics in R, here I am enrolled in Data Wrangling course, to learn more in-depth R.
As for anyone, Excel was my first analytics tool, and I used it quite often for basic analytics. Learning and working with Databases, I have experience in SQL too. I worked with Tableau, and Microsoft PowerBI too. I undertook the Stat Computing Course, wherein I was exposed to SAS too.
