Who is Aditya Nawal ?

Hi ! I am Aditya Nawal , MS BANA student at UC . I have previously worked for Banking and Pharma Companies before joining UC .

Professional Background

After graduation from IIT BHU ,I got placed in Capgemini, Associate Consultant, Hyderabad , India . Over there I have got chance to learn about technologies like Java , Jspring, Hiberante , Proc SQL , Maverick etc. After completing my training in this tools I realized my passion is more inclined towards Sales & Marketing so after a small stint of 6 months , I moved to ZS Associates , Pune ,India . Over there I worked with Pharma companies clients to create the Marketing Strategies with the help of Analytics. I have worked on various projects like Marketing Mix Models , Customer Segmentation , Sequencing etc. I was able to get the exposure of some of the Modeling techniques like Clustering , Regression , Convulational Neural Network etc. For the analysis purposes I have used R - programming , Python , Data bricks etc. After working over there for 1.5 yrs , I moved to Axis Bank , BIU , Bangalore , India . For last 2.2 yrs I have worked in 2 teams - Merchant Acquiring Business , Campaign Analytics. My work usually involved creating different strategies for Business by analyzing the data to provide recommendation which can help Business to solve the ongoing problems involved in the Banking Industry . In 2019 , I realized for me to up skill in this filed I need an advance degree , with some delay because of Pandemic I am finally able to join UC.

Experience in R

I have worked in R for almost 2 years , It is a good tool to do statistical and preliminary analysis .However , as the analytics field is changing day by day , analytics folks preference is changing in favor of Python.
