Self Introduction

• Who are you? (include a picture)

  My name is Kexin Wang, a Business Analytics major graduate student.

• A synopsis of who you are

  I’m from China, and this is my forth year at University of Cincinnati.

• Academic Background

  I graduated from UC as a marketing major undergraduate student last winter, now I am pursing my master’s degree.

• Professional Background

  My previous professional experience mostly were related to marketing and marketing research data analysis. Conducted research to monitor market trends and social media strategy within the industry. Through gathering and organizing needed information, conduct potential risks and opportunities towards target markets and customers. When worked for a hotel reservation service company, I was also responsible for forecasting bid rate according to prior bid price, rate cap, and tax changed, delivering advice to increase annual competitiveness for different hotels.

• Experience with R

  I am at the beginning stage of R language, just started using it this semester.

• Experience with other analytic software

  SQL (beginning) python (beginning) tableau (beginning) Excel (>3 years) Except Excel, I started learning other three kinds of analytic software as the same time as R.
