Hello! My name is Kirran and I am a Masters in Information Systems student pursuing a Data Analytics Certificate. I’m originally from Cincinnati and completed my undergrad from Lindner with a double-major in finance and information systems and held executive positions for Entrepreneurship Club, Bearcat Launchpad and The Technomentorship Establishment. Immersing myself in these organizations led me to become a Co-founder of B2B SaaS platform Perceive Now providing research analytics on publications, patents and key experts.

Professional Experience

Working in controlling refined my Excel skills and accounting knowledge as I worked on various topics including accruals and purchase orders. I was introduced to Microsoft Power BI where I organized multiple dashboards for their sales tracking.

I earned my Ohio Life and Health License to be able to sell insurance as part of the job in holistic planning. I learned the ins-and-outs of a financial adviser and the different outlets clients utilized to spread their wealth through life and health insurance, investments and retirement planning.

R Experience

I have taken BANA 7025 - Statistical Computing with Professor Wolfe which utilized R for data manipulation, visualizations, correlations, linear and logistic regression models. I am also taking BANA 7038 - Data Analysis Methods with Professor Morelli where we focus on linear and logistic regression models in SAS and R. Over the summer I took IS 7036 - Data Mining for Business Intelligence with Professor Lucas where we focused on Supervised and Unsupervised Learning methods in R.
