Vietnamese Sign Language Past & Present

Vietnamese Sign Language has been researched and developed since 1980 but only after 2000, there are efforts to collect Sign language used in different deaf communities.

Through out years, Deaf Community in each region still growing strong, however, there has been not much communication between communities leaders. As a result, each regions of Vietnamese start to develop their own Sign, leading to various

Sign Language Dictionry Online Projects founded in 2012 to collect sign language from diferent region and also from the past projects funded by World Bank.

This data analytics aim to provide Projects Leaders in Vietnam the big picture before making decision to develop Sign Language videos for which region.
