My source of heart failure prediction dataset comes from Kaggle which is an online community of data scientists and machine learning practitioners. The dataset contains 918 observations and 12 variables provided in the data set that I am able to predict.
Here is the summary of what the variables are:
Age: age of subject
Sex: gender of subject: 0 is female and 1 is male.
ChestPainType: chest pain type
RestingBP: resting blood pressure in mm Hg
Cholesterol: serum cholesterol
FastingBS: fasting blood sugar level relative less or equal to 120mg/dl is 0 and greater than 120mg/dl is 1.
RestingECG: resting electrocardiogram results
MaxHR: maximum heart rate achieved
ExerciseAngina: exercise induced agnia
Oldpeak: oldpeak = ST
St_slope: the slope of the peak exercise ST segment
Heartdisease: target
Aim of analysis of my project is to predict heart disease by ages and compare between genders. Surprisingly there are more men with heart disease than men. Also, we know it’s not just a man’s problem of heart disease. According to the dataset, the data predicts that more than 75 percent of age 40-70 have heart disease. I am not able to predict what factors cause the high rate of heart disease in the ages. 12 variables from the heart disease dataset are used to predict the diagnosis of heart disease. The performance of four different visual plots for representing a heart dataset are compared to visualize percentage of chest pain types in a pie chart; and then, the density by age with bar plot presents risks of heart disease associated with aging, but it shows that age 70 and beyond decrease the number of heart disease.
