Story

This home was originally designed for Dr & Mrs Robert Tannenbaum. Dr Tannenbaum chose another contractor to build the house, however.

The current occupants still have the original yard sign with Bill’s logo.

Aimee and Martina stopped in the day after Bill passed, and were given a warm welcome and a lovely tour of the home.

Story

This home was originally designed for Dr & Mrs Gerald Goldberg. It is a couple of blocks away from the Rubenstein house.

The current occupant coincidentally was a friend of the Rubenstein’s daughter growing up, but she wasn’t aware that the Rubenstein house was also designed by Bill until we contacted her about the house tour.

Story

This home was originally designed for Mr & Mrs Harold Prigozen. It is the first of five homes and one “extensive remodel” Bill designed in Dayton and the surrounding area. Martina remembers her dad taking her down there for an overnight work trip when she was a young girl. She had a cast for a broken ankle, and ran around in the dewy grass so enthusiastically that morning that the rubber footer on the cast broke off, and her Dad had to interrupt his day to take her to get that fixed.

The current occupants have the original blue prints, the scale model, and some photos from right after it was built.

Carla wrote that they have become friends with the people who lived in the house before them, and “feel a community with others in these beautiful homes”. She put us in contact with the previous owners who wrote:

“We loved our home at 511 Valewood Lane in Dayton, Oh! Honestly, it was the only place I personally felt like I was truly “home”."

This house was originally designed for Mr & Mrs. Thomas Routsong. They (or their children) may still live there. It’s possible the house was originally built in 1967, but Bill’s records list it in 1969.
