There was a main effect of culture (European American > Taiwanese) and a main effect of quadrant (HAN & LAN > HAP & LAP) but they were qualified by an interaction between Culture x Quadrant: Between cultures, European Americans had a greater profile correlation than Taiwanese for HAP and LAP states (i.e., positive states), while there was no cultural difference in the profile correlation of HAN and LAN (i.e., negative states).
