Getting DataInfo

The “Shinny App” analyzes open data available from Communications Regulatory Commission Of Colombia in the PosData webpage.

DAILY Internet TRAFFIC Information - Covid-19 reported by Colombia's Internet Service Providers, from March 30, 2020 to July 16, 2021, date when the file was downloaded.

Cleaning DataInfo

Loading and preprocessing the data in a separated process call ieTraffic.Rmd included in the GitHub repository.

  • Dataset Dimensions

  • Change Columns titles they were too long.
  • Change Date format to standard view.
  • Take out the NIT because it is not related to the model.
  • Output the “Traffic.csv” file to work with.

How to use the Shinny App

Since this is a Telecommunications DataSet the analysis is performed with dates on the X-axis only and features on the Y-axis. It's necessary to select one “Provider” in order to see it's information.

- Smooth Data only works with GigaByte information.

The application “Telecommunications' Traffic Report” uses “Shinny” package in R and was developed as a part of final project in the “Developing Data Products” course in “Coursera Data Science Specialization”.
